Terry Gleason:
Principal
Terry Gleason brings Apogee Analytics over three decades of experience in statistical analysis and marketing. After a ten year career as an academic, teaching at Carnegie-Mellon University and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, he joined Bell Laboratories in 1979 to do human factors work in various aspects of the customer care operations of the Bell System. Subsequently, he moved through several positions at AT&T and Bellcore that involved market research, demand analysis and modeling, and customer satisfaction analysis and research.
As a member of Bellcore and a Founding Principal of Apogee Analytics, he has considerable experience consulting with several companies both within and outside telecommunications, domestic and international. These engagements have involved numerous issues, including the design and analysis of customer satisfaction systems, deriving action strategies from the implications of customer satisfaction data, and improving the operations of interviewing centers doing tracking studies.
He has a B. A. in psychology from the University of California (Berkeley), an M. A. in mathematics from the University of Michigan, and a Ph. D. in social psychology from the University of Michigan. He has published extensively in a variety of journals and books, and currently is an active member of the American Statistical Association and the American Marketing Association.
